There's no denying product photography is an expensive career to throw yourself into! Between having the right gear, props, subscriptions and more, you'll at times feel the pressures of how costly it can be! 

So, as your Propsyland pals, we're here to offer you some budget friendly tips on creating those high quaility images you love, without breaking the bank! 

Today is all about creating high-quality images, utilising 1 light, a product and a few cutie blocks! So let's get started!  

ALL YOU NEED IS:

One strobe:

Goodbye, complicated lighting setups! All you need is one trusty strobe! We love the Godox AD600 PRO strobes and found these have been a very reliable investment, however if you're REALLY trying to save money, direct sunlight can work a treat too! 

White Bounce Card:

Need to save your pennies? Having a second fill light (strobe) could cost you thousands so for a cost effective option, we love a simple foam board to bounce light into those dark shadows.

Props & Backdrop Magic: 

A few props and a versatile backdrop are the secret ingredients to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary. Think about what shapes and colours you may use most and how could you utilise them in multiple ways? Our block and cube bundle is our most versatile option and you can always spray paint them for an endless array of colours. You can even try using your backdrop as a prop! Roll it up and lay a product on top.
